Greetings from Prudential BSN Takaful.

We have observed some Consultants prescribing off-label treatments, especially in oncology related cases.
We would like to remind all panel hospitals and Consultants, as per the customer certificate’s exclusion clause, the following are excluded from coverage:

1. Off-label or unregistered medications.
2. Experimental treatments/procedures.
3. Medications/treatments not approved by recognized regulatory bodies.
4. Medications/treatments lacking established medical efficacy.

Please be advised that PruBSN reserves the right to revise our initial approval decision during Final PAL if any treatments discovered during discharge process fall under the exclusion criteria.

Therefore, we urge all providers to refrain from submitting Initial PAL requests for off-label or experimental treatments or procedures, regardless of specialty, to ensure compliance with certificate terms and regulatory standards.
